The History of Flow Consulting Inc.
1992-1998
The idea for Flow Consulting began when a team of lean manufacturing consultants were hired by Reese Bourgeois in 1992 to support the key suppliers of General Electric's Power Generation Business. In 1998, the core of the original GE team decided to strike out on its own, and Flow Consulting was born.
Present
Today, three original members from that group of consultants are still working with Flow Consulting Inc., as it continues to drive LeanSigma operational improvement. The Flow Consulting team now consists of more than 15 professional consultants with years of practical executive and managerial business experience.
Along the way, Flow Consulting has expanded its tool set into LeanSigma for Service Processes, Leadership Development, Project Management, IT Operations Support, Supply Chain Management and Chemical Lean Manufacturing.
Expansion
In addition to covering the U.S., Flow Consulting expanded operations into Europe with key resources in London.
Key additions to the Flow Consulting team include members with deep expertise in Strategic Sourcing, Logistics and Supplier Management, and others with strong backgrounds in Business Effectiveness using LeanSigma tools.
Flow Looks to the Future
New additions to the team include deeper expertise in ERP implementation, a team member with strong skills in Materials and Warehouse Management and two more Black Belt practitioners of LeanSigma.
Flow Consulting continues to lend its expertise to businesses large and small, from goods manufacturing, to service processes, and to those who specialize in the acquisition and integration of companies.
